VAS Certification

The Qmatic Value-Added Service (VAS) Certification programme is a formal evaluation that confirms your partner-developed integration meets Qmatic's technical, security, and business standards. Certified VAS applications can be listed in Q-Store and distributed to any Qmatic Orchestra customer.

When is certification required?

Tenant-specific customisations do not need to be certified. Certification is required for VAS applications intended for distribution to multiple customers.

What certification confirms​

A certified VAS is verified to:

  • Deliver meaningful value on top of Qmatic Orchestra
  • Meet technical and security standards
  • Integrate safely without negatively impacting Orchestra's core services, APIs, or platform stability
  • Comply with Qmatic standards, policies, and regulatory requirements

How to apply​

  1. Express interest — contact the Qmatic developer team at qmatic.developers@qmatic.com to start the process.
  2. Complete the application form — download and fill in the VAS Application Form and send it back to us. Along with the form, attach supporting materials such as:
    • Product presentation, demo video, or case studies
    • 12-month roadmap
    • System requirements and integration details
    • Data protection and licensing documentation
    • User manuals or integration guides
  3. Technical review — Qmatic will review your submission against the checklist below.
  4. Outcome — if approved, your VAS receives an article number (tag) used for licensing, and can be listed in Q-Store.

Certification checklist​

Business readiness​

  • Business value and use case clearly documented
  • Sales-readiness materials provided (pitch deck, demo, case studies)
  • 12-month roadmap shared

Technical review​

  • Integration approach and customisation patterns documented
  • Data flow described (inbound and outbound)
  • Dependencies on external systems documented
  • APIs used are documented, including error handling, retry logic, and rate limits
  • VAS license check implemented (see License requirements below)

Security​

  • Vulnerability scan report provided
  • Security and privacy policy statements provided
  • Penetration test report (may be requested case by case)

Compliance (GDPR)​

  • Collected customer data documented
  • Data retention policy defined
  • GDPR requirements supported: data deletion, data export, data residency

Accessibility (conditional)​

  • Accessibility compliance statement provided
  • WCAG compliance report available if the VAS includes a user-facing interface

After certification​

Once certified, your VAS:

  • Receives an article number shared with you by Qmatic
  • Can be listed in Q-Store and enabled by any Sales Partner from the License Portal
  • Is visible to customers under Licensed Packages in Orchestra
